Mojos Bar

Mojos Bar is the home of original and live music in Fremantle. It loves it local and foreign, hard and soft, new and old, obvious and obscure, friendly and furious… you get the idea. Mojos Bar: the best bar in the world, most likely.

Since the 1970s the Mojos site has been a holy site for counter culture and live music in Western Australia. Formerly The Stoned Crow and rechristened Mojos in the early 1990s, the venue has hosted iconic international touring acts as well as locals destined for greatness.

In the early 2000s, international roots behemoth John Butler was famously plucked from his busking pitch and plonked inside Mojos by his manager – and former Mojos owner – Phil Stevens. In recent times acts as diverse as Tame Impala, POND, CW Stoneking, Abbe May, The Stems, Stella Donnelly, San Cisco and Thee Oh Sees have all graced the Mojos stage.

Finally – Mojos delivers a particularly homely and welcoming style of hospitality. It’s a clubhouse for all: straight and not straight, metal fans and reggae fans, students and millionaires. Everyone is welcome. Come get your mojo.
