Celebrate the festive season, Freo style, with a host of carol singers, skaters, mischievous elves, and more this December in Walyalup Koort from Monday the 16th to Friday December 20th.
There’ll be no ice, but there will be skating, no reindeers, but there will be cranedeers, and no hot cocoa, but there will be plenty of cold craft beers, ice cream, and cool beaches to splash your toes in.

Holiday Skating | 10am – 4pm daily (10am – 6pm Thursday & Friday)
Walyalup Koort gets its very own summer skating rink this year. Bring the kids down and watch them zip, glide, and spin away on 140 square metres of synthetic ice—experience optional! Skate hire included. (Ages 5-14 only.)
Meet Santa | 11am – 2pm daily
The one and only Santa Claus himself will take up residence in the centre of Walyalup Koort for a week of meet and greets, wish list negotiations, and photo opportunities. Keep an eye out for his elves too… you know how cheeky they can be.
Classic Christmas Movie: The Santa Clause | Thursday 19 December | FREE (bookings essential)
Pack a picnic and settle on the sloped lawn at Walyalup Koort to watch this year’s Christmas movie selection, The Santa Clause. Film starts at 7pm but get there nice and early to pick up some popcorn from our roving cart, get your face painted, and even meet Santa. Tickets are free but bookings are essential. Get yours here. Carols from the Koort | Friday 20 December
The much-loved Carols from the Koort returns as some of our favourite local performers bring you a night of carols and Christmas cheer under the stars in Walyalup Koort. Family festivities begin at 4pm with rumours of a special appearance from the North Pole later that evening.
