The Palace Arcade is a retro venue sporting vintage video games, New York style pizza and an impressive selection of Perth's finest craft beers and cocktails. A bar dedicated to 100% original arcade machines from the 80's and 90's, settled in Fremantle's West End.
Owners and operators Daniel and Gaurav are Freo locals and are passionate about the port city:
"Nostalgia is quite a big thing for us, growing up around Fremantle it was always a treat to go to the movies at Queensgate (before there were any movie theatres in the burbs), to be taken by our grandparents to the crocodile farm or Kailis and Ciccarello's for lunch.
Nights begging our parents for $5 to play games at Timezone after a pizza on the strip and days spent at Qzar and Fast Eddy's for friends birthdays. Then when we got into our late teens it was all about Harbouside and Metros until all hours...
Now we're actual adults, we find our time is better spent now having a coffee at Hush, lunch at Short Order or Spice Market, dinner at Bread in Common or Manuka and drinks at Strange Company." - Daniel
