Fremantle Bus & Train Station
JKT48's adventure kicks off at Fremantle Bus & Train Station. Opened in 1881, it’s through its classic Federation-era arches that visitors, workers, students, and popstars alike get their first glimpse of our port city.
Fremantle Tourist Wheel
The Fremantle Tourist Wheel and its sweeping views of Fishing Boat Harbour from Esplanade Park sets the scene for the perfect date with a partner, family, friends, or even a bear! If you're lucky you might even witness a wedding proposal.
Fishing Boat Harbour
No visit to Fremantle is complete without a stop at Fishing Boat Harbour for fish and chips, sunshine, and all-round good fun. Keep your eyes peeled for local favourites Cicerello's and Little Creatures in the video!
Fremantle Markets
Open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the iconic Fremantle Markets offer everything from fresh fruit and bread and street food from around the globe to locally made gifts, vintage fashion, and more. Stop in for a spot of weekend browsing just as JKT48 did.
West End
The West End's High Street, Mouat Street, and the University of Notre Dame campus all make an appearance in the video, but wander down any street in this precinct and you'll find a pretty backdrop for any shot.
Walyalup Koort
Fremantle Town Hall and St. John's Anglican Church in Fremantle's beating heart, Walyalup Koort, can both be spotted in the video. Visit Fremantle Visitor Centre to hire your own free bike and explore the city on two wheels just like JKT48.
South Beach
Stunning South Beach and its relaxed coastal vibes make it the ultimate summer destination. Go for a dip or a walk along its pristine shore, enjoy a picnic under the towering Norfolk pines and Moreton Bay fig trees, and finish with a drink at one of South Terrace's buzzy bars.
