Tchéga will transport you to the Indian Ocean islands with their vibrant Creole folk music. Led by Reunion Island singer-songwriter Carole Katz, the group’s songs are infused with the tropical sounds of her homeland. Expect upbeat rhythms, sunny melodies, and a joyous atmosphere. Tao Issaro keeps the energy flowing with infectious percussion, Nathan Joseph lays down basslines with an island twist, and Ridge Moss’ guitar adds a breezy, tropical touch. Together, they create feel-good music perfect for any island escape.
With his striking shamanic presence and iconic headdress, AURUS is a musical and visual phenomenon. Drawing inspiration from a vast array of global influences—spanning the New York Bronx, African tribal traditions, British pop, and the maloya roots of his native Reunion Island—AURUS blends these sounds seamlessly. His powerful tenor voice commands attention, capable of leading a polyphonic orchestra with ease. Sung in English and Creole, his performances are transformative, leaving audiences ecstatic and deeply moved.
