John Curtin College of the Arts was one of the first Independent Public schools in the State and is Western Australia’s only selective Arts College.
Catering for over 1600 students from Years 7 to 12, the college offers Gifted and Talented programs in Ballet, Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music, Music Theatre and Visual Arts. As a Registered Training Organisation, John Curtin College of the Arts also provide nationally recognised certificate courses in the Creative Arts Industry.
Creative Arts students at the college regularly perform at the Curtin and Ellen Theatres. Public performances are scheduled throughout the year, from Shakespeare, to Broadway musicals, through to self-devised pieces.
