Sunday; done well, takes its time. The Italian ritual of “Sunday Sauce” brings together connection, generosity and comfort, and this is exactly what Old Bridge is going for with this event.
Old Bridge Cellars is teaming up with Pasta e Fagioli, Perth’s favourite Italian-owned pasta truck, for an afternoon built around good wine, good food and that sense of a shared table.
At its heart is the wine: 18 Italian wines that trace the country from north to south. You’ll move through at your own pace, with enough context to guide you, but plenty of freedom to compare and enjoy.
Around that, the experience fills out naturally.
Delicious bowls of pasta (via pre-order).
Scoops of tiramisu direct from the slab (for purchase on the day).
And Perth’s famous Accordion Man, providing an ambient soundtrack.
Jay will be manning a dedicated Amaro station, plus Negronis will be available for tasting courtesy of Chris Masten from Beyond Distilling.

- Rigatoni al ragù: Rigatoni pasta, slow-cooked beef ragù (dairy free)
- Mafaldine ai funghi: Curly fettuccine pasta, creamy garlic forest mushroom (vegetarian) (including optional extra: Great Southern truffle oil.)
- Gnocchi Sorrentina: Soft potato pillow, tomato sugo, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil (vegetarian. Vegan option available.)
