Inspired by Tim Minchin’s hit song from Matilda the Musical, When I Grow Up offers a funny look at all the things children dream of doing when they’re grown-ups. With playful illustrations and heartfelt lyrics, this story celebrates childhood imagination and reminds us to hold on to wonder and curiosity at any age.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
LISTEN: Gather round as our talented performer presents the story in their unique performance style.
CREATE: Explore the story and its themes through creative play activities. Adults / caregivers are essential to this part of Puppet Playtime and at every session there will be something to create and take home to treasure.
PLAY: Engage in puppet play, making sounds and music, games, and other interactive play. Listen to the story retold with your creation in hand and see your child’s imagination soar!
