Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Paul Wright, presents Albicastro, a lost Baroque jewel, Haydn’s uplifting Symphony 94 “Surprise” And Sibelius’s sublime Violin Concerto, the height of Romanticism, featuring fabulous violinist Ellie Malonzo, 16.
Ellie has won 11 first prizes at international competitions and performed in the USA, Vienna, Canada, London, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. She made her soloist debut with FCO in 2022 with a standing ovation, with further performances in 2023 and 2024 including her own amazing composition Concerto for Violin and Viola “Canons and Counterpoints”.
John Keene, FCO conductor says: “I find myself realising every now and then that I am working with someone so young whose maturity, technical skill, and superb ear and musical sensibility belie her years as both performer and composer’.
