We warmly invite seniors in our community to join us for Marionettes and Memories.
Enjoy a cuppa, try your hand at puppeteering, engage in conversation, and share memories.
The experience includes a fascinating introduction to marionettes by our Associate Director, Michael Barlow, featuring select pieces from Spare Parts Puppet Theatre’s treasured collection. Participants will then have the opportunity to bring marionettes to life under Michael’s guidance.
The session continues with a memory-sharing activity inspired by objects selected by Spare Parts, culminating in Michael performing a selection of these memories using marionettes.
Light refreshments of tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available.
