Overview
A small award winning boutique hotel in the old limestone cottages that were once the Fremantle Warders’ homes. The cottages offer a little pocket of calm among the vibrant heart of Fremantle.
Restful sanctuaries behind a buffer of thick limestone walls, with thoughtful touches that bring our colonial heritage into your private space. Cottage rooms are brought back to the original timbers and stonework and then overlayed with modern refinements and a hand-made essence.
Thoughtfully sourced furniture, art, cushions and throws, creating a calm and inspiring space to unfurl. Refined, textural, ‘hand made’ spaces.
Terrace Rooms are set on the upper level overlooking central Henderson Street and are an intimate styled room offering a private retreat from Fremantle’s hustle and bustle. Mindfully combining the original timbers and stonework with refined, hand-made finishes. Thoughtfully sourced furniture, cushions, robes and throws combine softly with a unique supply of chilled and sparkling water and locally procured mini bar product. Original artwork by Tessa MacKay in each room depicts scenes and portraits from Fremantle’s history, sitting comfortably alongside modern refinements.
Terrace Cottages with textures of original stonework and wood have their own breakout dining kitchenettes, which can also sleep extra guests if required. Settle amongst hand crafted furniture, cushions, luxurious blankets and robes, or relax with a unique supply of chilled or sparkling water, teas and coffee on your furnished private terrace to connect with the sounds and life of Fremantle.
