What is it?

The inaugural F.RE.O Fashion Festival 2026 is a celebration of Western Australian fashion.

Featuring three distinct runway showcases, an extensive fashion market for independent designers, makers, and pre-loved and vintage fashion, hands-on upcycling workshops, and informative industry talks. The festival highlights local creative talent while inspiring a vibrant, inclusive, and collaborative fashion industry.

The Runways

11:00 AM – Re:Imagine Runway (Walyalup Koort)
Located on the paved area in front of the Fremantle Town Hall, this runway showcases unique wearable art, upcycled designs, and curated pre-loved and vintage fashion.

12:30 PM – The Pre-Loved Parade (Henderson Street Mall)
Located in front of the Fremantle Markets, this surprise flash mob runway features 10 professional dancers and 24 models bringing the street to life.

2:00 PM – Re:Volutionise Runway (Walyalup Koort)
Highlighting the future of ethical design in Western Australia, this runway features independent designers, current fashion students, and recent graduates who design and produce ethically.

Preloved Market x FOMO

Head down to FOMO Freo for a massive celebration of sustainable style, featuring over 100 conscious fashion sellers, local DJs, and delicious street food. Shop curated racks of high-quality pre-loved fashion, one-of-a-kind vintage treasures, active streetwear, and hidden designer gems.

FLIPPING FUN WORKSHOPS BY SLOW FASHION HUB

Celebrate the F.RE.O Fashion Festival with a day of creative, hands-on up-cycling activities at the Slow Fashion Hub in FOMO Fremantle.

Join a series of beginner-friendly, hands-on up-cycling sessions to learn how to mend, repurpose, and extend the life of your garments.

Join the team at St Pat's Fremantle for a series of brief, interactive in-store talks focused on sustainable fashion habits, circular style, and their community contributions. Along the way, gain inside knowledge about the St Pat's organisation, their community involvement, and their valuable social contributions.

Perth Clothes Swap X F.RE.O Fashion Festival

Refresh your wardrobe sustainably by participating in our collaborative community clothes swap event. Perth Clothes Swap is aimed at women who want to refresh their wardrobes without overconsumption. There is no token or item-for-item system, whether you bring one item or many, you’re welcome to take as much or as little as you need, while being mindful of others.

Ticketing and Registration

The outdoor festival and market, runway showcases, and industry talks are free to attend. However, the hands-on workshops and clothes swap activations are ticketed events with limited capacity.
