Celebration of Sicilian Culture as Palermo F.C. Comes to Fremantle 

The tour will connect Palermo, Sicily and Fremantle through a week-long celebration of football matches, community events and cultural experiences designed to engage Palermo supporters, the Sicilian and Italian Australian community, and football fans.

Fremantle events will take place across the city at Fremantle Oval, Gage Roads Freo and Fremantle Football club, while the city will be transformed into a vibrant Rosanero destination.

Celebrate Palermo FC's historic first visit to Australia at the Fremantle Festival Siciliana, a free community event that brings together football, food and Sicilian culture in the heart of Fremantle.

Enjoy a vibrant Little Italy pop-up featuring Italian food, culture and family activities, while on the oval Palermo FC players take part in a special youth training session with local footballers. All are welcome to join for a relaxed session with Palermo players and the Fremantle FC Miniroos.

The festival offers a unique opportunity to experience the passion of Italian football, connect with Fremantle's rich Sicilian heritage and see Palermo FC up close during an unforgettable week of Calcio Italiano in Freo.

Rosanero Always

The historic Palermo FC was founded in 1900 in Palermo, Sicily. To celebrate Palermo FC's first-ever Australian tour, Fremantle will be transformed into a vibrant Rosanero destination, with pink and black taking over the city for the festivities.

Throughout the week, visitors will have opportunities to meet Palermo FC representatives, including Head Coach Filippo Inzaghi, a member of Italy's 2006 FIFA World Cup-winning squad, first-team players and club legends Amauri and Fabrizio Miccoli.
