Perth Festival | Shupiwe Chongwe: Bedforms

06 February 2025
Bedforms is a journey into the heart of family, culture and tradition expressed through the timeless medium of ceramics. Shupiwe Chongwe offers a deeply personal reflection on the connections that bind us, drawing inspiration from her time spent observing traditional potters in her second home, Zambia.

Shupiwe Chongwe offers a deeply personal reflection on the connections that bind us, drawing inspiration from her time spent observing traditional potters in her second home, Zambia. Rich in emotion, this blend of sculpture and photography weaves together the textures of the land, the rhythms of tradition and the warmth of family ties.
