Kitchen Collision is a homage to growing up in the 1960’s and 70’s. They were exciting decades. So many conversations and activities were held around the kitchen table. It was a collision of information from our family and friends. Mum speak often centred around children, friendships, family stories, battles won and lost, new recipes, chores to be done and being of service to others. Dad speak often captured the latest technology such as television, muscle cars, landing on the moon, seeing into outer space, robotics and bionics.
From that informative space of our kitchen, Lisa Dymond's imagination would run wild creating other worldly creatures. And here we are!
