This August, Fremantle will proudly welcome Palermo FC as the club's official home base during Calcio Italiano, a week-long celebration of Italian football, culture and community. Palermo FC is one of four iconic Italian clubs travelling to Western Australia for the festival, alongside AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus.
From 5 to 11 August, Fremantle will host a series of activities celebrating the rich heritage, traditions and spirit of Sicily, creating opportunities for fans, locals and visitors to connect with one of Italy's most historic football clubs.
While the full program is still being finalised, Palermo FC players, coaches and club representatives are expected to feature in events at Fremantle Oval and Gage Roads Freo.
The Turin-Sicilian Showdown
The week culminates on Tuesday 11 August, when Palermo FC takes on Juventus in the Turin-Sicilian Showdown at HBF Park, one of the headline fixtures in the Calcio Italiano festival.
