Partnerships and advocacy is a strategic pillar for the City’s destination marketing activity. Collaborating to maintain a critical mass of marketing activity is key to amplify the impact of the brand on target markets whilst advocating to key decision makers the benefit of Fremantle as a destination when seeking support for the development of infrastructure or emerging markets.

This includes building partnerships with state and national tourism organisations through membership, collaborating to deliver joint campaigns and participating in targeted business events, roadshows and trade shows. The City of Fremantle has a close working relationship with these organisations for the benefit of the destination and Fremantle business.
