BUMPY

With a voice that balances tenderness and power, award-winning Naarm-based artist Bumpy is a magnetic force in Australian music. Her sound is a shimmering mosaic of contemporary soul laced with folk, funk, and jazz. She captivates with her hypnotic stage presence and evocative voice turning raw emotion into something universally resonant.

Bumpy has wowed audiences at the London Jazz Festival, Shinjuku Pitt Inn, Headlined the Sydney Opera House, Meredith Music Festival, WOMADelaide, and more. She’s shared stages with legends like Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Meshell Ndegeocello.

Bumpy has garnered several prestigious accolades, including New Talent of the Year at the 2023 National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs), the Archie Roach Foundation for Emerging Talent at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards (MVA), Best Soul/RnB/Funk & Gospel Work at the 2024 MVAs, and a nomination for Best Soul/RnB Work at the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) Awards. Most recently nominated for Work of the Year (Jazz) for the APRA Art Awards.

Bumpy has just released her highly latest single ‘Cosy Comfy’, the third single from her incoming debut album ‘Kanana’ releasing via Astral People Recordings October 3.

BOOX KID

Boox Kid is a First Nation (Noongar) artist blending dreamy electropop with cross-genre versatility. His debut EP, Reflections (April 2024), garnered over 200k streams, with track “I Don’t Mind” featured on major editorial playlists. A prominent performer, Boox has graced stages at BIGSOUND, Nannup Music Festival, and Perth Festival, and supported acts like George Ezra and Jen Cloher. Beyond music, Boox has showcased his talent in Noongar-language operas, Koolbardi Wer Wardong and Wundig Wer Wilura, and debuted as a sound designer in Yirra Yakkin’s Operation Boomerang. An advocate for First Nations artists, Boox participated in APRA NATSIMO’s RESONATE program, collaborating with artists like Jem Cassar-Daly, Cloe Terare and Candice Lorrae.
