All aboard for a rollicking night of sea shanties with the Lost Quays.
Whether you're singing at the top of your lungs, tapping your feet or simply raising your glass, you are sure to be dragged into the nautical atmosphere created by these bawdy fellows. The Lost Quays prepare for the calm and the storm, with shanties and other songs of the sea! The sea shanty was the work song from the days of sail, telling of life on board, and the thoughts and desires of the men who sang them.
Singing both a cappella, and with a sprinkling of guitar, concertina and drum, their infectious energy, good humour and knack for getting the crowd up off their feet make every show unforgettable. As well as traditional material, and nautical folk material from around the world, you'll hear many an original song.
Formed in 2015, the Lost Quays are regulars at festivals around WA and with regular sell-out shows at the Old Courthouse and across the country.
