The Good Sammy Fremantle Op shop offers furniture, an incredible Gold Seal section, wheelchair accessible change rooms, wider aisles, as well as a community space for upcycling workshops and other activations including temporary pop up markets.
They often have sales on branded items, and our size-organised stock makes for an easy thrift shopping experience.
Around the back of the store, via Paddy Troy Mall, they have a Containers for Change collection point and donation drop off point. So, when you visit, bring your drink containers to recycle! They'll count them and send your EFT refund via your scheme ID.
You can also donate furniture at the back of the store (via Paddy Troy Mall) during opening hours. Good Sammy are grateful for furniture donations, but please - do not bring large donations within an hour of closing time and ensure you have someone with you to assist with unloading and moving furniture. Unfortunately their team members are unable to assist with this.
While Good Sammy’s core purpose is to provide meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for Western Australians with disabilities, the Fremantle op shop also gets satisfaction out of supporting and collaborating with members of their local community.
By shopping, donating or volunteering, you’re helping to empower people with disabilities to make their own choices so they can identify their goals, feel connected to their community and be supported as they work towards independence and meaningful employment.
