Freo Builds 2025 | Drawing Competition
Attention, WA Primary School Students!
Its time to hop into the director’s chair and set the stage for an imaginary Fremantle. This is your chance to see your original and creative drawing turned into a real-life LEGO masterpiece. Are you ready?
Lights, camera, ACTION!
What's the Challenge?
We want to see your favourite movie set in our favourite city. Think of one of your favourite films and sketch a scene from it taking place at an iconic Fremantle location (or sneak one of our Fremantle icons into the movie).
We'll select the most fun and original designs to be transformed into real life LEGO® creations by Perth's top builders. Picture your imaginative scene dazzling visitors during the July school holidays as part of the Freo Builds Trail. And that's not all – the public will vote for their favourite build, and the design with the most votes wins the ‘Ultimate Excursion in Fremantle’ for their whole class!*

Has the Fremantle Prison turned into a magical Hogwarts castle?
Maybe the Little Mermaid has found herself on Bathers Beach?
