Vessel emerges as a critical missing piece in Western Australia's arts ecosystem - an independent voice, non-profit contemporary arts organisation, and exhibition space dedicated to pushing boundaries, challenging norms, and creating meaningful public exchange.
Located at the entryway to Walyalup (Fremantle), the organisation will breathe new life into the iconic Naval Store, turning an industrial heritage space into a crucible of creative potential. By creating a fit-for-purpose new contemporary art centre in a unique heritage-listed building we can provide more opportunities for artistic talent as well as address the need for more connection through the arts which will lead to all of us thinking better for the future, using art as a catalyst for change.
