Bruch’s Violin Concerto 1 is arguably the most beloved and beautiful violin concerto with breathtakingly heart-warming melodies. Incredibly gifted 15-year-old Audrey Jarvis is the soloist in this romantic masterpiece. FCO and the brilliant Paul Wright (Audrey’s teacher) have crafted a program to complement the Bruch 1 with an overture by Rameau, Boccherini’s The Devil’s House Symphony and Massenet’s Cantique. This is a thrilling program for FCO’s first concert in its 20th Anniversary Series.
