The Market Bar has a long history in Fremantle. This much loved bar was originally located inside the Fremantle Markets and has relocated to a new location in Essex Lane with it's famous long bar, chairs and tables reminiscent of a good old English pub.
There's live free entertainment every Thursday to Sunday with open mic nights, piano sessions, music clubs, and a regular line up of local musicians and some Freo legends. There's one thing everyone has in common and it's a love of music.
