Learn about culture by Aboriginal people in craft, arts and language classes through a program of engaging workshops for adults and kids which coincide with the six Nyoongar seasons.

Explore the range of activities running at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre this Djilba season.

ABORIGINAL DOT PAINTING | PLATTER BOARDS

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE | WHADJUK BARLADONG ARTIST ALLAN YARRAN

Come behind the scenes and watch artist in residence Allan Yarran as he works on his latest piece. Find out his process, background, and inspirations as you wander through the beautiful cultural centre.

WEAVING WITH SANDRA EGAN

Join Nyoongar weaver Sandra Egan for an afternoon of Aboriginal weaving. In these workshops you will create your own basket using natural and hand dyed raffia while yarning about Aboriginal culture.
